Description
This piece of carved jade man belongs to the early Shang Dynasty. It is carved on both sides. The jade man is dressed in a Chinese dress. The details and lines of the Chinese dress are represented by single-inscribed lines. The Chinese dress is engraved with round, oval, and cloud-shaped decorative pattern. The facial features are relatively simple, but the eyes, mouth, nose and ears are all expressed. The jade man wears a gorgeous crown. There is a hole in the crown to wear. The surface of the jade is smooth and has a rusty soak-induced color.
