Description
The jade is in graynish white color with large brown spots of different shades on one side, translucent, plain surface, finely polished with glassy lustre.
It has a round hole in the center, and three serrated ridges with the same shape and direction on the outer edge, and eight teeth are carved out between the ridges.
In the early years, many scholars thought that this kind of notched disks was an astronomical instrument, and called it “Xuan Ji”. Now this is not accepted by people.
