Description
This jade cong is greenish white color, with brown soak-induced color on the surface, and there is a bronze color deep into the jade. The jade is relatively small. It covered with full carving of symmetrical beast face patterns and moire patterns which has been divided into two parts. The beast faces are carved on both sides that around the corner with S-shaped pattern, C-shaped pattern represents the horned crown, double long eyebrows, cirrus nose, oval eyes.
The other parts are fully covered with cirrus cloud patterns, ear patterns that carved with deep and shallow concave lines.
The circular hole in the middle of the jade cong is drilled from both sides by a tube drill. There are scars left by the drill in the middle of the hole. You can clearly feel the spiral traces of different depths when you touch the hole wall with your hand.
